Mellow Yellow Recordings offer a range of mobile recording solutions for all applications. Whether you want to record a full album or just demo a few songs, we can arrange recording sessions to suit all budgets and ambitions.  The advantages of being a mobile recording service means Mellow Yellow Recording will travel to where the band practices for the recording sessions. This will result in the band feeling more comfortable than in a daunting recording studio where performance may be affected due to the tense atmosphere and time constraints.
The flexibility of the recording methods mean bands can simply record songs ‘live’ or record individual parts separately giving greater control in the mix and subsequently achieving a better overall sound, however this will depend on the budget of the band.  There is even greater flexibility with solo artists due to the lack of band members! Recordings can take place in a living room or wherever the artist feels most comfortable.
Solo artists sessions will inevitably be quicker than band recordings and subsequently will cost the artist less. Backing tracks can be provided for vocalists at a small additional cost.
 A mixing and mastering service is offered to all clients at a fixed rate per track. This will be done after the recording session at our premises and will take approximately two weeks to finalise and return to the artist on CD. Alternatively, unmixed data files can be supplied for the artist to arrange mixing and mastering at their own discretion.
